I found out that i had lumps in both of my nipples when i was 13 and my nipple is kinda like protruding. Now im 16 year old and aLso i have hepatitis C and is currently under treatment. So am i having breast cancer too? This will suck ...

I have two older sons and both of them had lumps under their nipples with protruding characteristics around the same age as you. They had a slight gynecomastia which is due to hormones. It came and went for a few years and disappeared altogether in both of them by the time they were 18. Please have this checked by your doctor, but I am sure that you are fine. A doctor will relieve your mind and tell you that it is most likely a common condition in males that few talk about. Good luck.

Like Carol Marie I believe you will be found by your doctor not to have cancer and that you will return to normal as you age a few years. That's what happened to me when I was young man about your age 45+ years ago. In my case I had a cyst that needed attention then. 

What I hope you will also do after this is behind you and you continue all through your adult life is to always be mindful of any changes, especially lumps, in you breasts.  Do understand that men get breast cancer, although much more rarely than women. It usually shows up as lump in nipple area and if you check yourself regularly you have great chance of finding any lumps and getting a doctor to tell you what it means.  You must do this for yourself since at this time most doctors don't even mention the need for male breast exams, much less  preform them for you at annual physicals.  I hope this practice soon changes for men, I do see a trend now in the breast cancer community to promote male breast cancer awareness.   This forum is good example.

I hope by now that you have been checked out medically. My mother died of breast cancer and I myself am a survivor. When I was undergoing chemotherapy, one of my teenage sons came to me with a lump in his armpit. Needless to say, I was overwhelmed with feelings of anxiety and guilt. I immediately made an appointment with my surgical oncologist to have the lump evaluated (fortunately, it was benign, as yours very well might be). You might be interested in an article on foodforbreastcancer.com entitled How can we protect our sons from breast cancer? If you are at high risk for male breast cancer, there are steps you can take to reduce your risk. There is also information on the site on how to reduce risk of a recurrence if you do get diagnosed (the site is based on scientific studies and does not sell any food or supplements).
