Trying to conceive, worried about certain supplements/meds

We're trying to have a baby, and I'm in my mid-30s, so it isn't as easy as it was in my early 20s!

I'm concerned about the idea of taking supplements or meds that mess with hormones.

I think that what I don't want is something that increases estrogen or has estrogen-like qualities (so no non-fermented soy!) But I don't know what clomid, femara, and vitex do.

Any advice/links/resources?
