chemo done-mets allready?

This is my first post and I really need to know if I am just paranoid. I just finished chemo on August 24th, had a lumpectomy 2 weeks after that and now I am getting ready to do a follow up chemo on Friday. My problem is that I have had pain in my back for a few weeks now. I can't imagine that I could have mets in my bones this quick after finishing chemo. I was wondering if this has happened to anyone else out ther? I am scheduled to have a scan on Wednesday and I am really scared.

Hi Lola -- I would be surprised that mets showed up so quickly but I suppose it could happen.  I don't know what else to say.  But hang on, Wednesday will come soon and I'm hoping and feel like it will be OK.  Hugs,

Lola, did you have the scan? did you get the results yet?

I got my scan results and they were "normal"! I started follow up chemo on Friday. GemCarbo or CarboGem, not sure which way they say it. So far not any SE like I had with the TAC. So I am doing great! Yeah!
