Metaplastic Carcinoma

I'm new in this web.I've diagnosed with breast cancer this May.I had a breast pain last Dec.I've had fibrosistic change and had brest pai all my life.This year I notice m beast pain didn't go.away.This March,part of my breast turn into hard.I had a mamo,ultasound,biopsy,and MRI.The doc told me Invasive ductal Carcinoma. I went through AC+T(3times did't work and tumor grew from 5cm to 7cm along massive pain.I was taking morphine)Chemo,Surgery.My speciment went to lab.They found I have Metaplastic Carcinoma.I'm going to get Rads soon.Lymph nodes,skin, and margins were negative.But I'm very worry about my future.Is anyone who has MBC? And How are you doing?

Your situation is one of the main reasons I pop in here every once in awhile. I was diagnosed with metaplastic BC back in 2004. In the time lag between finding my lump and my lumpectomy I knew my lump was growing rapidly but acc'd to everything I was being told that was pretty much impossible. Turned out I was right when it turned out to be mbc. Followed up with chemo(only 4 AC...I had a pretty bad reaction to chemo so I didnt do the T but thats another story). Also did the rads with a boost to the tumor bed.

Knock on wood Im still here and so far no mets. Doesnt mean it cant happen or wont but so far so good. You'll never stop worrying about your future but it will get easier and it wont consume all your thoughts as Im sure it is now. I still worry now when there is a follow up test...for example I had a ct scan that showed a small 2 mm nodule on my lung recently. It could be a whole lot of things ( I know this logically but...), and its too small to biopsy, so I have to wait for a number of months to see on a follow up scan if it grows. In the meantime I have to go on living. Good luck with everything.
