What do swollen lymph nodes look like?

I was wondering what qualifies as "swollen lymph nodes." I'm speaking about above the collarbone on my cancer side. How big are lymph nodes there, and what do they feel like when they are suspicious or swollen? I have a couple, very tiny ball-like areas that move easily.

I have one palpable lymph node on my cancer side.  It's just like how you describe,and I found it at the beginning of August.  The Rads Oncologist has me in for a follow up on it this week, and I'll see my regular oncologist next week.  I think the answer is to see your Oncologist and let them decide if this needs further investigation.  That will give you the most peace of mind.  I hope everything turns out okay (for both of us).
