Has anyone had this type of imaging?  It is not widely available, but looks to be more promising in the detection of ILC

i had a bsgi and an mri done at beth israel in nyc. they are comparable diagnostics. the bsgi was so much easier than the mri. with the bsgi, you still get contrast, but it was just a shot in the arm rather than an iv. the test is done while you're sitting. they do 2 views of each breast, i think they are about 5 minutes each. your breast is compressed, but not nearly as much as a mammo. when the bsgi is over, you meet with the radiologist who can immediately give you the results.

at beth israel, they do both tests as the bsgi is being used for a study.
