Cefni, Just treat her like normal.  She is in fact different from before, but trust me she doesnt want to be treated with pity, or that she is different.  As far as her disease let her take the lead.  But treat her like anyone else you havent seen in 10 years, catch up on family, friends, jobs etc.  Hope this gets to you on time as it is now the end of the weekend.  If you have any other questions how to help her you might want to post under "getting through treatment"  you will probably get more responses.

Have fun catching up with your friend.

Ditto on deborah's post-----first things first--she is your friend. SHE will set the tone regarding the cancer. She may not mention it or it may be all she talks about.........follow her lead & try not to worry about what you say--be you! come back & let us know how it goes.

    Hugs-be well & stay strong
