Blood tests

My mom' s blood tests after the first Taxol chemo, showed very high white blood cells level (27.000) and high g-gt (65). Does anyone know if Taxol affects these levels or maybe the drugs before infusion like steroids etc? Also note that the day after every chemo (4 in total), has Neulasta.
