Question about HER/2 neu from a newbie..

I was wondering where my result for this test would appear? Is it from the path report or is it a blood test?
I have my path report from my lump and dont see anything on there...I had blood taken at the onco the other day...would it be there?

It is on the pathology report. It make take additional time to complete this test ... mine lagged by about 6 weeks.
Did you ask the doctor?

I forgot to ask...maybe I will call the nurse tomorrow..I looked for it but didnt see anything thanks

It will be on your lab report as your "FISH" test. But it usually takes alot longer to do. I did not have to do chemo until my fish test came back showing HER2 + came back, it changed everything. Hopefully you are not HER2 +. Good luck, Tanya
