help radiotherapy burns

I am caring for my sister who has advanced metastatic breast cancer.  She has skin involvment and an fungating tumour of her breast.  She has just finished radiotherapy and I am doing her dressings. She is in terrible pain despite 40mg slow release morphine and 4th hourly breakthrough doses of 10mg.  This is not holding her. She cries when I change the dressings and can hardly move between times.  She is not a complainer.  I am taking her to see the hospital doctor tomorrow, I don't know what to do.  I think she needs more pain relief when i do her dressings but oral is not working.  Any help please.  I don't know where to turn.

    princesskath, I don't know the answer to your question, but I will suggest that you post it on the Stage IV forum since the ladies there might be able to help you more.
