Her 2+ then becoming triple neg?

3 years ago my mom was diagnosed with Stage 4 Her 2+ cancer, she was in remission for approximately 1 year and recently we found out that now she has triple negative bc. We saw the PET scan results today and she has one very large lymph node affected and 4-5 small lymph nodes affected. She started chemo today (Taxotere). Just wondering if anyone else has heard of this happening. Prognosis? Any information would be greatly appreciated.
