Soreness/ tenderness after FNA

I too am a member of the ladies in waiting.  New to posting on this website, I woke up this morning after having a terrible dream about the big C and had to get it all out.  My mom had two different types of cancer, one being BC.  She had/has two sisters who also have/had BC.  I am in my forties and now find myself with two lumps.  No DX on either, just watching.  Several US later we are still playing the game and 7 months into this I am going insane.  The BS that I go to now says she is also concerned about an area of calcification.  Not sure where that one popped up from, since we did not discuss in previous visits.  I had an FNA on the new lump, it did not say cancer, but did not put me in the clear.  Dr wants to wait another month and maybe take it out.  She say cancer take 5 years to grow and another month will not"kill" me.  Going to a different BS!  Have to wait until Oct... Tick, tock Tick, tock.  My question is, after 3 weeks, my breast is still sore from the FNA.  Not only where they did the aspiration but seems like soreness is all over.  Less from touching more when pressure applied, i.e. leaning or carrying something close.  Any thoughts?  Trying to keep my mind off this nightmare, but pain seems to be a constant reminder.  Not sure if I should call the quack back and ask her about the soreness, since I really to not want to see her again.  One additional point while I am on my soapbox!  It has become obvious to me that there are way to many people going through this same thing. Doesn't seem right that all of the best drs are booked months in advance.
