how do you deal w/the itching?

Hi ladies,

 Most of you have read about my mom and the predicament we're in, but the itching is getting really bad and I have tried several creams and ointments, just wanted to touch base with you ladies to see what you've used that may be helping.. Thank you

    If it's not open sores have you tried maximum strength Cortizone 10.  It is 1% Hydrocortisone Anti-Itch Cream.  My rad oncologist suggested this for itching during radiation treatment.  It sure helped.  How about Aloe Vera.
