The HOOVER CONSTELLATION vacuum. Oh, we had one of these space age classics (and it was the last time I can say I actually liked vacuuming!) Hoover has recently re-issued it!

When I was little we would go downtown to see christmas lights. Also would look at all the windows of the store all decorated so special. Even went to Wilmington nc to see a giant decorated tree. I was like two in the pic we have. I even took my kids there when they were young.

What about those folded pieces of paper where we had tp pick a number. Pick a color, moved it all around, opened the flap & it said "You Love George" or something crazy!

kbugmom, didn't you hate how the tight stretchy band under your chin (easter hat) hurt your neck? We used to tuck them under the hat, and I remember feeling guilty about doing that!
In sisterhood, xo

I would get frustrated with taking off a dress if it was snug over head . I would panic.
Learning to tie shoes and telling time. Oh telling time I remember that time well.
-
I remember the cup things that we used to walk around on, they were from watching Romper Room, they were called Romper Stompers.. LOL Do you remember the hoop that you would put around one ankle that had a string with a ball at the end, then swing it around to jump over it with other leg? I think it was called a Chinese jump rope. Good times
-
I remember that hoop & jump toy.
And the Magic Mirror on Romper room.
We made moon shoes with Tin Cans & Strings.
Anyone recall the show Casey Jones? I bet that was local here : o
