I am new so not sure where this suggestion should be. I have an artificial limb & sometimes am challenged to doing things,so I have done some things to simply my life. Maybe some if these ideas will be helpful to you. I bought a roomba to vacuum. I must say this little guy (yes he is a guy) does a fantastic job. Last week the battery died & I had to do the house with the other vacuum. If you are in the active battle w/BC it is great. And do you know the best part, they are on sale.

Of course feel free to add your own ideas.

I used "Charles" the 530 roomba today. He did a great job cleaning. It got hold of a dangling shoe lace & was able to release it, adjusting to from wooden floor to carpet not a problem. Only place it needed help was it got stuck in the metal part between the open french doors & the screen. Very cool, love it.
