      Hello, It's me again? I am in stage 4 of bc and i was wondering If they can apply radiation to the lungs? I just found out that I have stage 4 and I am scared. I do not let my girl know just how scared I am. If anyone knows about radiation please let me know. Thank you, Lesa Marie...AKA  Alabama

    Most radiation to the breast does hit the lungs I was told by my radiation oncologist. The exceptions are at MSKCC and NYU where they do a special technique of radiation that does not hit the lungs but the breast only.
