I keep reading tofu is not good for breast cancer.....I found an artical saying it's ok to eat. I am confused on this...I was not sure if miso soup would be harmful to eat?

It seems to me like nobody really knows one way or the other about soy.  I've read a lot of opinions that it's bad for ER positive, but also a lot of opinions that say the genistein in it fights breast cancer. 

As far as miso vs. tofu, one difference is that miso is fermented and tofu is not.  I've read that the fermenting removes "anti-nutrients" that are in soy: phytates, enzyme inhibitors and goitrogens.  Here's a page that talks about that issue.  http://www.naturalnews.com/025513.html  But it's still soy.  If you believe the opinions that soy is bad, I would avoid miso.
