Dear Friends,  I am praying for all of you.  Lord, help us with our pain, hot flashes!!!, and all other effects of this disease and treatments.   Thank you, Father, in Christ's precious name I pray.

I am rather new to this board and you are all such a blessing for me.

If you are having intense pain, I asked my surgeon for the medicine Dilaudid or the generic form after my bimax.  It really helped me during those first weeks.   My husband was given this medicine after his aortic valve replacement some years ago.  It is a BIG Gun pain killer and I recommend it highly.  I don't like my sisters suffering with pain.  I hope that you can try it for your pain.   Take care, dear ladies.   BB

Praying for you, and sending some COLD air from NC to help with your hot flashes...  when I get them at night, I throw off my covers, and stick my leg out over the edge of the bed...  it seems to help.  I don't get them much during the day...

Did you sleep well last night Foots?

I do the same thing as Harley does for the hot flashes.  I also sleep with a face cloth so when the night sweats atttack me, I can fight back!!
