    Hooray!!! I got the results of my CBC and CA 15-3 tests today.  All good reports.  I had a  CBC done before surgery but had not had a tumor marker test before.  So... I was doing some research on line to understand the test and what I read says it is indicated to monitor metastatic tumors but not for Stage 1 post-lumpectomy follow up.  I was very glad my MO ordered the test but I did not ask for it.  I am pretty sure it is just part of her routine follow up and I think she said it would be done regularly.   Does anyone else' oncologist use this in normal follow up?  Pam
