New Here moved over from DCIS

 Well I am here  after a month of HELL...Doc felt flat lump suspected DCIS sent for Mammo then to biopsy totally expecting to hear DCIS...did not happen..this took from JUne 15th  untill yesterday.

 Tumor may be a mix  ductal /lobular 3cm ?node is felt but not fixed ...make sense??I am reeling so please bear with me...Surgeon has not recieved my biopsy report only MRI.

Sent this am for us to rule out mets had that and chest x ray tommorrow will be bone scan.

 I am 49 ...50 in August..sister. mother ,me all HNPCC pos ...I thought that breast was not included in that specific gene mutation.

Mother ovarian 42, bowelx2 45ish, & 76 ish .ureter 78 all HNPCC cancers age to date 81.

Sister invasive ductal carcinoma 48 stage 1 lumpectomy with radiation,Uterine cancer age 49 papilary serous TAH BSO NFT.

Me...48 adenocarcinoma Feb 10 /08 TAH  BSO NFT...and now this ..I need some words of widom from the ladies who have already walked this path.

Course of treatment as discussed with surgeon ...6months CHEMO to shrink tumor then bil mx..praying there are no mets ,,thanks for taking the time to read my post.

 Please forgive any typos or wrong short forms.

Cheryl, I am so sorry you got this news -- is this based on biopsy even though surgeon hasn't received full report yet?

Praying that your scans are all clear, no mets.

My biopsy pointed to DCIS hence the shock..no my surgeon and she was also my sisters breast surgeon based it on the MRI..I stilll do not have the biopsy report that was done June 24th.it should be ready today ...it is the waiting that is torture !!!
