daughter with very "rich" in glands breast

I am stage IV and concerned about my daughter's risk. She is 30 yo and had her first breast ultrasound for check up. It shown she has a lot of glands in her breasts just like me and that makes breast not able to be self examined but also not able to have good screening tests and mammos. Of course she has two beautifull and healthy breasts but I am concerning about the risk factors.

Yes, we mothers and fathers do worry about our daughters (and sons as appropriate) after our own cancer. So I fully understand your concern. I'm sure you've discussed life style modifications such as normal weight, avoiding estrogen (I even encourage avoiding the birth control pill) and avoiding alcohol. 

But in your daughters situation, perhaps a plea to your health insurers to consider alternative scanning such as an annual MRI would be of benefit. A well done MRI, with competent reading of it, can truly show breast architecture not visible on either mammogram or ultrasound. Some day I strongly feel MRI's will replace mammogram.

I too have concern for my dear daughter.  She is only 9 but already concerned about her future risks.  She told me she understands about genetics.  She has taken biology in 4th grade, .. she might have read about fruit flies.  One thing women can do is to be extra vigilant in self exams.  There are many excellent websites -
