How common is tamoxifen resistance to ILC?

When I try to research this, I only find reports on the study that tries to explain WHY ILC may gain resistance to tamoxifen. I'm trying to find out how common the problem is in the first place. From what I understand, it's not due to the liver's ability to metabolize tamoxifen so getting that test is not relevant to this question.

I started Femara less than a month ago. My oncologist agreed that we'd split my 5-year-treatment between Femara and tamoxifen because I had a number of concerns about AIs. But the pain is already getting pretty severe and I'm not sure I'll be able to manage 2-3 years on an AI.

Can anyone point me to research on how common ILC resistance to tamoxifen resistance is?

I did post a link in this forum about a new research (April, 2009)  found that cholestoral caused Tamoxifen resisitance,  but I can't find it now, it's somewhere in this ILC forum.  Will send to you when I find it.
