6 mos. mammo/sono after lumpectomy nerves

I know there has to be a thread on this somewhere, but I just had my first mammo/sono after my lumpectomy.  It is the 6 mos. checkup.

How do you deal with the nerves?  I had it on Monday.  I was told the results would be back Thursday.  My onco's office called Wednesday to say that they had the results (do not give them over phone, it's their policy) and were moving my appointment up to next week.

What is odd, my breast surgeon (not onco) ordered the mammo/sono.  I have a pre-scheduled appt. with her on the 20th.  So she must have sent the results to my onco who moved my regular appt. up from the 29th to the 15th.

I am trying not to read anything into this, but of course I am.  My hubby thinks it is nothing and that maybe my onco just needed to change the schedule, since the surgeon's office has not called to say there is anything urgent.  I am glad, of course, that I can get the news sooner.  Just worried now about what the news is!

Anyway, since I will be dealing with the annual (for awhile bi-annual) nerves of the mammogram/sonogram wait, how do you calm your nerves? Yoga?  Desserts? Reality Television? Mocktails?

Thanks for letting me vent!
