Good morning, Ivorymom!

I'm still waiting on my resceduled appt with onc.  They still insist (as of the other day) that MRI results have not been read yet ?!?!?!?  Hopefully all the stars are aligned on Tuesday.  

Yesterday I had coffee with my very first best friend (@ 9 years old) whom I haven't seen in 20 years.  Turns out she had almost the same diagnosis as me last year!  She did lumpectomy but was only given one week to decide.  They had to go in again for cleaner margins.  Her treatment is complete but she also did chemo.  At Kaiser their standard care for women our age (high risk of recurrence) includes chemo.  So that's something I hadn't even thought of as no one has mentioned it as necessary.  Needless to say I've got lots of questions for the onc.
