Hello Everyone,

I'm Sunshine and I am writing this post for my mother in law.  She has been a breast cancer survivor for more than 30yrs and back in April 09 had a 2nd masectomy in her other breast.  We are now having to deal with possible liver and lung mets.  I want to ask each of you for prayers but I also wanted to know if anyone else has experienced this?  Is this common?  She has an appointment next week about her liver and we want to be able to ask the needed questions about her treatment.  I welcome all thoughts, prayers and suggestions.  We love our "Bebe"!  She's been such a fighter and she's still fighting.  I think as you get older this gets to be a tougher fight and we as a family have to help her fight the good fight as long as she wants and needs us to.  Thanks for listening.  This felt good just being able to write this post.  For her I have to be strong for my husband I have to be strong and for our family I have to be strong.

Wow, after 30+ years I'm sure she was feeling like it wouldn't return. Do they have the pathoogy of the first tumor to compare with any biopsy they do now? It may be considered a new primary and have different hormone expression.

    Prayers and best wishes.
