    Hi,

I have some strange symptoms--one breast has grown larger than other (about one cup size) and has stayed that way (this started in May). Before my period it felt full and felt swollen, but after period, it has gone down in size and doesn't have full feeling, but it is still larger than other one. I have never had breast pain and I now have it in different places in both breasts off and on.  I have red dots (tiny pin size ) on bigger breast that are fading. I have reading about IBC and I realize that one breast larger than the other is a symptom and I should go see a doctor.  The problem is that my insurance does not start for six weeks (and after I get insurance add a few more weeks to get doctor appointment). I was going to wait until then, but from what I've been reading it seems that this is something that needs to be examined soon after symptoms.  If I don't go until about Sept., this would be about 4-5 months since symptoms started.  Is this an okay amount of time to wait? I know this isn't something you can definitely answer, but it would help to know how long others waited before they saw doctor so I can gauge what I should do.  I feel funny about going to an emergency room for this.  I live in Southern California and the earliest I could get into a clinic would be about the time my insurance started anyway.

I really thank you for any help.
