A beautiful woman has gone to heaven
My mother passed away on June 16. I was with her when she passed, and there are no words to describe. I will miss her terribly, but I have brought home with me some of her most personal belongings, her rosary for one, which are gently reminders of a beautiful woman. She is not suffering anymore, her pain is gone, and she is finally at peace.
Take care my dear friends. You have been here for me when I was shaken with fear of lossing my mom, and I thank you all for you kind words offering strength and encouragement. I hope I don`t have to come back to this website, no offense, and I wish you all nothing but joy and happiness.
God Bless

Gentle HUGS, and prayers for peace as you deal with your mother's death. Some have taken clothing and made a quilt, shawl or pillow out of the pieces. You then have something to Hug and hold as you remember the good times with her. My deepest condolences to you and your family.

The 'GBH Community Mourns Lisa Faria
Dear Colleagues,
It is with great sadness that we report the death of Lisa Faria of the Broadcast Editorial Department, who passed away on Friday while fiercely fighting against cancer. Lisa began her WGBH career in January 2004, working first as a Traffic Supervisor in Production Services before moving into Broadcast Editorial as a Programming Coordinator nearly two years later. Those who knew and worked with Lisa will remember her as a smart and committed colleague, with an impressive command of her job and both the ability and the willingness to share her knowledge with her co-workers to the benefit of all. Her initiative, upbeat attitude and sense of humor made her a pleasure to work with, and her engagement with the world around her, particularly in her passion for politics, always guaranteed lively conversation with her. But it was her determination and strength of character in the face of her illness that was especially inspirational for many of us. You couldn't talk to anyone about Lisa for very long without the word "amazing" cropping up to describe her both as a professional and a human being. We will miss her more than words can adequately express.
Lisa is survived by her husband Wayne Archer and her son Joshua Faria. Expressions of condolence may be sent to them at 45 Fitch Terrace, Randolph, MA 02368. At this writing, details of a memorial service were still being worked out but will be announced when they've been finalized.
