Taking tomaxifen while going through radiation

I finished my chemo and will start radiation in about one month or so. I was told by my medical oncologist that I can start taking tomaxifen while going through radiation, but he said he is OK with me taking it afterwards if my radiation oncologist suggested that I should take it afterwards. Personally I prefer to take it while on radiation because tomaxifen is systemic, and radiation is local. On the other hand, I don't know if there are any harm to the body to have two things simultaneously. What do you all think? What was your experience? I would love to hear from you.
