Finally someone to talk to.  I am not diagnosed with breast cancer i am only 18 but am very worried because of my family history.  I didnt no where to go to find answers or to even talk to someone and see if how scared I am is normal.  For most my friends Breast cancer is the least of there worries. But not mine.  My grandmother on my moms side passed away years ago from breast cancer.  I was only five so i couldnt tell you what kind or where it was. Although i do remember her going through cemo and radiation.  Till this day thats how i remember her. But not only did she have it but her mother my great grandma was also diagnosed with breast cancer.  She lived but with the saccrafice of losing one of her breast.  Also on my moms dad side of the family my great grandma servived breat cancer. Recently maybe 3 months ago my step mom was diegnosed with breast cancer.   she was in a stage 0 but they removed her right breast.  She recently found out that she now has to go through cemo and radiation.  I no there is no blood relation its just crazy how much this aweful sickness surrounds me.  So heres my problem i need help with finding out my chances of getting breast cancer and how early i can get a mammagram with my family history.  I no im only 18 but like i said with my family history i want to be able to beat this. i want to be given a head start. unlike my grandma.  please help i hope im in the right place if not please let me no a place where i can get help with my answers thank you and i wish you all luck. i even just got my first tattoo of the breast cancer ribbon.
