What??? I knew about Farrah, but Michael? Was he sick?
-
Heart attack for Michael, age 50. Paramedics called to his home today in LA at 12:30 p.m., no pause, no breathing, CPR couldn't bring him back.
-
Michael had 50 sold out concerts scheduled - trying for a come back . I know they are just "people" like everyone else - but WOW what a shocker. Farrah was expected, but still so sad, Michael just blow away by that news.
-
Today is the day my daughter died, 12 years ago. We heard about Michael as we were on route home from visiting her grave.
-
prettyinpink-I am sure this was a difficult day for you. Your daughter was a star in your eyes. I am sorry that you mourn her.
-
PiP - so sorry about your loss. I'm sure this is a difficult day for you and your family is in my prayers.
Ed McMahan, Farrah Fawcett, Michael Jackson - they say things happen in 3's.
-
Oh PiP every June 25 will be a difficult day for you. I'm so hoping that when you think of her, you remember her before cancer, when she was healthy and active.
Thinking of you with love,
Linda

Such sad news. They were all known the world around. I hope their loved ones can somehow find peace during this time.
PiP,
I am sorry that you lost your dear daughter 12 years ago. I cannot imagine the pain of losing a child. I am thinking of you and hope that you were able to find comfort today.
Hugs,
Lexi

I'm sorry PIP. My prayers are with you and your family.

Thank you all for your caring thoughts and comments. I didn't mean to highjack this topic. When I heard about Michael I was in the moment of pure anger for my daughter and my own loss. The news made me think about those whose hurt is so new and raw. My heart goes out to Farrah and Michael's family who are at the beginning of their own journey. No matter who you are, it just plain SUCKS!
-
WOW,
Ed McMahon
Farrah Fawcett
Michael Jackson
-
PiP, you did not hijack. You make a comment because it is the same day. You are in pain and this is the place to be, any thread, any time.
Blessings.

Yes very sad. I was prepared for Farrah, but Michael's death just blew me away. I wonder what's in store for his children? Such an odd life they've had so far -- I hope they get a more "normal" life with one of the Jackson family members. I hope they're OK, all things considering.
-
PrettyinPink -- I'm so sorry about your daughter -- I didn't know. Can't imagine anything worse.
Sending my love,
Elizabeth
-
PiP, I can hardly begin to imagine what this day must be like for you. I'm so sorry.
(I was feeling bad for Farrah, and then just stunned by the news about Michael Jackson. Very sad.)
-
I cant beleive MJ! I love his first stuff. I was expecting Farrah and eventually Ed, but MJ!!! Shock. Probably a combo of meds or something. He obviously has had a lot of stress in his life . RIP.
I gues the saying that bad things happen in 3's they weren't kidding. Ed,Farrah and MJ. Very sad..

I was so sorry to hear about Farrah. I was so impressed by her documentary. She had a lot more substance than I ever realized. I live in Farrahs home town, so between that and being the same age as Michael Jackson, these deaths seem strangely personal to me. Nightline played a previous interview with Michael Jackson where he said Tatum O'Neil was his first girlfriend. Just goes to show, everything's interconnected.
