Hair loss

Hi, My sister has been diagnosed with bc in Feb. She has had 2 chemo treatments, and has already lost most of her hair. That was her biggest fear, loosing her hair. She has been a hair stylist for 25 years. So I bought her a wig, and a couple of scarves, and let her cut off my long hair, hoping all of this would make her feel a little better. We are taking it one day at a time, together. But, I have real concerns. Since her hair has fallen out, she now has purplish/black spots all over her head. I am really concerned. Can anybody tell me what might be the reason/or is causing this?
