micromets

This may be a silly question, but what is micromets?  I've read posts which have a diagnosis including micromets and I've always wondered what exactly this means.

    It usually means there are teeny tiny (micro) cancer cells in the lymph nodes.  Mets= metastisize which means the cancer has spread from the original sight.  No silly questions here- we are all learning.  Tami

    I think if they are smaller than 2 mm then are called micromets ? one of mine was micromets but really forgot details.
