    Grace - thank you for sharing this.  I LOVE Alice Waters.  I went to college at UC Berkeley and lived pretty close to Chez Panisse in the mid 80's.  In addition to a pricey restaurant, they have a wonderful cafe that anyone can afford.  The food is amazing.  She has done so much for the community schools in the area and also educating the general public on what food should be.

    We can all learn from her.  I have been eating organic for many years now  - thanks to her.
