Hi there.  Im Suzie.  Just wanted to say what a great website this is to help educate and support so many about so much!

 I am not a medical professional, nor have I had breast cancer.  However, a few years ago my dear friend did and I was able to see how it impacted on her life and that of her family.  It changed my life forever and now I am passionate about helping other women. 

One of the amasing things that stood out for me was how wonderful the circle of friends and family were at supporting and caring for my friend.  Sometimes it can be so difficult to know what to say and do.  Friends folding some washing, doing some errands or housework, can make such a differance, as can just sitting quietly for company.   Men can find it hard to know where they fit in,  so pointing them in the direction of the lawn mower or gardening rake, can give them a job to do that actually needs doing and is helpful. 

 To all the supporters, the husbands, partners, friends and family supporting a woman with breast cancer, you are doing a wonderful job!  It can be time consuming, it can be a huge emotional drain, it can cause worry and heartache, and you may find yourself saying or doing the wrong thing.  But your efforts do not go unnoticed, even if they arent mentioned, so a big thank you to you all!
