I actually can use a cup of tea with lemon.
Thanks.

Sent DH out for take out. Having a glass of wine. Stressful day.
-
Well it's lunch time the next day here and I don't make lunch - it's every man for himself. BUT none of you will believe dinner yesterday. Once a week - pretty much always a Thursday - we have our English meal - egg, beans and chips!!!! So fried eggs, baked beans and oven fries topped with brown sauce. My 22 year old son who lives in an apartment in town refuses to stay for dinner on egg beans and chips day!!! I must admit to getting sick of it but DH loves it and it is so easy!!! So you'll have to come for dinner next Thursday.
-
I will be glad too Gill.
how was your take out last night Meece.
I brought in 2 slices of pizza. Ate it. Im soo full now.

Have a good weekend everyone!!!
-
Have you ever noticed when you don't have to cook it, it seems better than it really is? Clean-up was a snap, so it was the best meal!
-
I'm very tired and achy these days. You'd think I had a life or something!
Night all. (Yes, it's only 8:30pm but I'm gonna sign off and crash).
-
Hi gang o' mine (Hi Gilly!!!) Well, last night I was up in Salem on a work trip & my boss took me & my co-worker out to dinner at a real nice seafood place and we had drinks, good food & major decadent dessert! We got back to the hotel & my co-worker & I hung out in the hot tub before bed and then we went to our work function today-Boss man bought us breakfast, gas to get home, and gave us lunch money!! It was very fun & out of the ordinary. Tomorrow I'm walking in the Relay for Life and it's shaping up for some sun instead of rain! Have a great weekend all!
-
Hey Joni, sounds like a great time. It's nice when it's unexpected - such a treat. Very thoughtful boss - we need more of them. My bosses are nice but the thought to go the extra mile would never occur to them.
Hope all is enjoying their weekend. It's hot here but I'm not complaining.
-
Ugh back to work and I have 7 kids this week. But it's only for a few days. I CAN DO IT! Just letting them get super dirty in the yard playing in the wadding pool, eating popsicles and doing arts and crafts. I'll hose them off and hand them over to Mom and Dad at the end of the day.
-
Boy, that sounds like a plan, Paulding.
-
Sounds like work, Paulding! Take it easy.
-
Paulding..You are too funny. Wonderful idea just squeeze little liquid soap and hose them down.
Hi Ainm, Meece, Patoo, Joni and gillyone.
And whoever else is on the last page a big HI.
-
Hi back at you!!!
-
Paulding, you could let them blow soap bubbles first, then you would save a step.
-
Good Night, Patoo, Seyla, Jo, Joni, and Gilly!
Ar chodail tú go maith, Ainm?
-
Meece - Níor cholaidh mé ach caoiseach maith mar tá slaghdán agam agus chaithfidh mé suí suas i mo leaba nó thosnóinn ag casachtach - níl sé ró compórdach.
How is everyone doing???
Well our office is officially closed - we will work (if we get any work!!) from our spare bedroom - it's a big disappointment to have to take such a backward step - DH and I are not in the happiest moods at the moment - our luck will have to improve soon, what else can happen - we've had the scare involving our DS's health, my mothers dementia deterioration, my BC dx and now business gone - surely it can only get better!!!!
-
Ainm, I hope you are feeling better today. Nothing worse than feeling bad and not being able to rest comfortably. My lungs are weak, and when I get a cold that goes there, nobody gets to sleep well. I am like you and have to sit up in bed to reduce the coughing. I am sorry things have been so rough for you and your family.
Hope everyone has a wonderful day, we're half way through the workweek...Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!
-
AINM, here's sending you some good vibes for some good, no, great news.
Today is DH birthday and he doesn't want to do a dang thing. No cake, steak, presents, nothing. Well I did get him one thing and I guess I'll try and talk him into doing something this weekend.
-
Ainm, sorry you have to deal with so much all at the same time. Praying for your strength as you and DH go through.
Paulding, DH depressed? We females get depressed and many times find an outlet but males tend to internalize feelings - not healthy at all. Is there another couple you can invite over to spend a fun evening?
Hope all are doing as well as can be expected. Heard two promising news clips on ovarian (new blood test) and breast (one massive rad tx during lumpectomy surgery) cancer advances. Hopefully they will pan out.
Night friends.
-
Night Patoo, is it warm tea, or milk tonight?
-
Tea, please. Thanks.
-
Mmm good choice, I think I'll have a cup with you.
-
Im freezing.
-
I'll share my tea with you. (but you really should close your windows)
-
It's Thursday again. Remember today is "eggs beans and chips" day? How many am I cooking for? It is cold and rainy morning here, but at least I don't have to think about dinner for hours! Not sure what I'll do today - yesterday was our last day of the preschool year.
-
I just had fish and chips for lunch. DS will be over for stuffed porkchops tonight.
-
Yummy! How long will it take me to get there for the pork chops?
-
Well, it is about a 12-14 hour drive, but if you travel virtually, you could be here just when they are coming onto the table.
-
I don't want virtual however. Pork chops are my favorite thing to eat!!!
