homeopathic treatment for survivors
Hi everybody!
I am not sure if this is the right topic, but I was not able to find a better one.
I am 43, I was operated five years ago, IDC, gradus III, ER-0, PR-0, Her-2/neu - score 1. I received chemo and radiation. I am too happy that 5 years have almost passed.
I now have a benign cyst on my left ovary and my doctor wants to remove the ovaries, just to be cautious. I am not too happy with the fact to loose them, so I would like to try to make the cyst disappear with homeopathy, but I am not sure if homeopathy is recommended to breast cancer survivors or not. I also had a hysterectomy 6 years ago because of a myoma. Any suggestions are welcome! Greetings from Croatia!

I think that homeopathy is OK becuase it is energetic medicine and does not work on the same principles as, for instance, herbals. If your homeopathist hits on the correct remedy, I believe it starts to work right away. If she tries the wrong one, no harm done, but your body does not start to heal itself. I did have one very successful encounter with homeopathy where I was cured almost in a matter of a few days of a tormenting itchy rash that had lasted for months that my doctor was never able to even identify. So I do know it can work amazingly well, depending on whether the homeopathist finds the right remedy.
I suppose that if the cyst is benign you can afford to wait a few weeks then have another test (ultrasound?) to see if the remedy is working or not?
I also used a homeopathic remedy at the time of my mastectomy for helping me to cope with surgey - I will never know if it was my good surgeon, the 12-hour pain block the anesthetist used, or my remedy, or all 3, but I never had a moment of pain from the time I woke up in the recovery room.

Dear Souad,
Thank you for the reply. I have visited a homeotherapist and started treatment two days ago. I also visit a bioenergist. I wish all the best to all the brave women on this forum and a lot of inner strength. I have learnt from my experience that positive attitude is the most important thing in this battle. Spend your time with warm, funny people and try to forget bad things. This was my recipe and today I am a healthy women, divorced with two teenagers!
