ER-/PR+

Anyone else have this as part of their dx?  I'm HER2-, but my main question is about the ER/PR.  My onc said that even though my ER is -, since I'm PR+ it's like being ER+ too, or something like that. He sounded much more intellectual in his explanation, but I still don't get it.  Anyone else have this or know anything about it?  Just cruising around the boards and I don't see this too often.  Thanks.
