What happened to report this post?
Okay - I see a new solicitor doing multiple posts and I want to report it to get it removed. I notice that you can't report a post if it is a new topic. You can still report the replies to it, but there is no report this post button on a new topic. I don't think you guys meant to do that, did you? Now what do we do about the spam?

Yep, I just saw this and went to report it and can't...is there another way?
-
I guess you could send an e-mail to Melissa, but the response to e-mails has not been very good as of late. I am going to try that, but I really don't think they meant to do this.
I just discovered that I can't send private messages - anyone else having that problem?
-
I've been trying to report someone who seems to have been flooding the boards a bit with links. If you check her "profile," there are a few spots where she actually types words, so I wondered if she fooled people into thinking that she and her links are legit. If you google her "program," it's all a farce.
-
I just saw that two of the posts were removed by the community - how did they do it? Is there something wrong with my computer that I can't see a report this post on the new subject?
-
Anne, can you please pm me so I know if we are dealing with the same solicitation? Thanks!
-
Anne, I'm seeing a "Report this Topic" at the top left of each new topic. This topic, for instance, has the title "What happened to report this post?" and just under that on the left side it says, "Posted on: 47 minutes ago". And directly under that it says, "Report this topic" in light blue letters. I'm using Firefox, if that makes a difference.
Hope that helps.
BinneyEdited to add I just tried it on Safari and there's no "report this topic" visible. Odd. Hope they can fix that.
-
Binney, I see where they have moved the report this post from the right to the left side of the screen as well. I use windows Internet explorer.

it's right there on the post.. to the right, next to post a reply for me.

Apple, they are talking about report this post on the first posting that starts each topic. I do see the report this post on the right side for each subsquent post.

Thanks, Binney - I don't see it at all. Apple - yours is where it always was? I think my computer is cutting off the left side and I never noticed it before - even when I switch to smallest print, I don't see the report this post. I guess it must be me.
OOPS - I switched to smallest print and now I can see it. DUH
-
Binney, thanks! I couldn't find the "Report this Topic" on the original posts either. Now I see it!
I have to say that I don't like the reformatting of the discussion board at all - too much other stuff on the top and the side and the bottom of each page, making it very busy and leaving less room for the posts. I guess it makes sense that BC.org want to promote other parts of their website but I find it really quite difficult to focus on the posts now.
-
Beesie, I'm with you on that. I'm a long time out of treatment but still have problems from chemo-brain, and the distraction of all these sidebars, headers and footers is truly frustrating for me. I usually just roll with their changes, but this one really sinks my ship. I hope they reconsider, or maybe I can find a way to make my screen smaller and block out some of the chaos.
Sigh!

Yup, the report this post is now on on the left of the first post on IE, but OMG, I am geting a headache from all this additional clutter!
-
I thought it was the pre-meds I took today, I was going to see how things looked tomarrow. HAHA...........I know what you mean by the headache, I am getting DIZZY

Hi everyone,
We apologize for the unintended confusion in finding the "Report this Post" link when the new content updates were implemented. It sounds like you are now able to locate and use this link. However, please do let us know if you continue to experience any difficulties or have any questions.
Thanks,
Niki

This new layout does stink. I cant go back and edit a topic I started anymore. It was one about the stolen poms. I just found out that I had them identified incorrectly and I cant fix it.!!!
If the original posts cant be edited, then the "Oncotype Rollcall" is no longer valid as she wont be able to continue to add people.
Of course there is another forum that all are welcome to come too. PM me if interested!
