Good News for ILC ladies
Comments
-
Hey... I was all ready to read some good news! sniff, sniff! Whatzzzzzzzzzzzzz up?
-
Sorry Laura....I saw an uplifting article that said ILC is slower moving and just as treatable as IDC but then I saw the date at the bottom and the article was 2 years old.
-
Bummer! But still... 2 years ago... that's not TOO old is it?
-
Two years is pretty recent, actually. But the gist of the article is consistent with other findings.
ILC may be hard to detect, but it also tends to be less aggressive that IDC. Once you're through being pissed off because it escaped early detection, you can take consolation from the fact that it is no more likely to kill you, and is possibly less likely to do that, than IDC.

Um, yay?
I still think I'm more likely to be run off the road by a crazy Texan in a black, extended-cab pickup. No offense if you drive one of those, Seabee - just noticed you're in Texas.

lol - or by a woman applying nail polish while driving! No kidding... that happened here. She plowed into a girl on a motorcycle who was stopped at a RED LIGHT.
-
Been in Texas for 27 years, but I drive a Highlander hybrid. ;-)
-
Hi Colleen! My brother and his family also live in Mansfield, TX. Small world, but not Texas!

They are right when they say that Texas is a "whole other country." When we first moved here three and a half years ago, I noticed something funny on the weather page in the Fort Worth Star Telegram. They had the Texas weather, and then below that, above a picture of the United States with forecast graphics on it, the caption said, "Places Other Than Texas." Like there were "two places:" Texas and Not Texas. It's been changed since then, unfortunately, and now it correctly identifies the rest of the country...

I have to share with you Texan's that when my son graduated from Lackland Airforce base in San Antonio we made the trip down from Duluth, Mn. We just fell in love with Texas and the people. We stopped at Billy Bob's country bar on the way........in Fort Worth and we had a blast there. We are huge country music fans and this place has had every artist who's made it. We can't wait to go back and vacation in San Antonio.
