i've gone to see a Chinese herbalist and following is the list of what she has prescribed me.

 radix polygoni multiflori                        Scutellaria Barbata

coix seed                                            zedoary turmeric

langehead atractylodes rhizome            common yam rhizome winged yan rhizome

common macrocarpium fruit                  radix astragali

i'm in the middle of googling them to see if there are any problems and i've got a feeling that turmeric has been spoken about on this forum. i'm ER/PR+, post menopausal, stage IV, just finished chemo for bone marrow mets and starting Tamoxofin.  I was wondering if any of you learned ladies would have any comments on what she has advised.  she thinks the radix astragali has some hormone ingredients and if I like she will remove it.

thanks for your help.

    Hi,

Wow, I've never heard of any of these - glad you are researching them. I would absolutely avoid any that have an estrogen effect if you are ER positive. Let us know what you find Cool

I'm sure a learned lady will be along soon :)
