Can IBC present it self then disapear

Has anyone experienced a large tumor growing overnight? Red swollen breast warm to the touch swollen nodes under the arm? Then the DR perscribes antibiotics for mastitis the swelling and redness dissapear but a large lump remains. Turns out it was a DCIS tumor over 8cm large. Sounds very strange. Has anyone had the symptons come and go. Thanks for any info
