Possible BC or Lymphoma?

Over the past few months I have had an increasing number of lumps behind/around my right nipple, and now spreading to the sides of the pectoral muscles. There are also large clusters under my right arm.

I realize lymph nodes can get enlarged, and then decrease in size.

However these clusters are firm, some are enlarging, and they seem to be spreading quickly.

Also, my right nipple is reddened, and is no longer symmetrical w/ my left one. It is about an inch or two higher than the left. I am exhausted, and am having some itching (that is associated w/ toxins spreading in the lymphatic system).

I have a consult w/ my family doctor tomorrow.

I can't help but be anxious. I have 3 young children.

Are multiple lumps common? Can cancer or lymphoma develop this quickly (ie. within a year or so?) There are so many internet sites w/ differing info.

I need some personal stories.

Thanks in advance,

R.

I'm so sorry, forever. I can just imagine how frightened you are. I'm glad you found this site, and am sure others will be by shortly.

It's awfully hard to speculate, and of course the only way to know your diagnosis is through biopsy. I hope your family doctor will arrange a timely referral to a surgeon so you can move along, as pace in these circumstances helps manage the what ifs.

Please know in the interim, we're here for you and I will keep you close in thought. Your on a tough journey right now, but you're not alone. Please post when you want, there's almost always someone here.

My best to you and yours,

    Tender
