Hello all...I am new to the forum however I have been following it for some time.  I was diagnosed with bc almost 2 years ago.  I chose a double mascectomy and began reconstruction in December 2008.  I had a tram flap in February 2009 and two weeks after I returned to work I was laid off from my job.  I have an appointment witth the oncologist tomorrow and having my 3 month checkup.   I'm  little nervous about the tumor marker.  I am still having a difficult time learning how to live with the fact that I had bc.  Hoping that it gets easier.  Thank you to all of you "sisters" who share your stories and give me hope.  I could not even say the word breast cancer for 1 year after I was diagnosed.   God Bless you all!
