Here's Another Valuable Resource

I don't want to get into any discussion about the pros and cons of alternative med vs the scientific community. But I thought I would throw this out there for people who are looking for sound science along with alternative options. There is an organization called Life Extension that publishes a book on medical treatments and protocols for various ailments. They also have a web site: lifeextension.org I believe. They have protocols for cancer. I have read the book, which by the way is updated periodically on the website, and it is excellent. As a medical professional who is both skeptical and open minded, I recommend this organization. They also sell supplements but their main goal is to scientifically research . I for one am leary of suppliments-not because they are not bioactive (as most of our phamaceuticals were derived from plants) but because there is no regulation of their gathering and manufacturing. The products vary so widely in quality. I try to use only those tested by USP.      Hope you find this organization helpful.     Lynne
