I had repeat pics and an ultrasound after mri lit up, and doc thinks it lit up because of the surgery 6 months earlier from the lift. Bless all of you waiting for results and I hope the best for everyone here. The stress from tests is unbearable!!!
-
Congrats Vision!
So, yesterday I had a cardiologist appointment and he told me all was ok for my hip surgery. Great! Then I went for my annual mammo and ultrasound....not great. They found a nodule with calcifications. Small and very deep into the breast. I am having a biopsy this coming Tuesday.
From there I go to my PCP to get cleared for the hip surgery and get the reults of the ultrasound she had done on my carotid arteries....no surgery..they postponed it...70% blockage in one of the carotids. have to go to vascular surgeon this coming Wednesday. all in one day this happened!! wow, I had to eat a couple of xanax!!!
So, if you all don't mind I am planting myself here to wait....I need you all !! I can't do this without you.
hugs and prayers,
Candie

Yikes Candie ~ you are in my prayers I know it is hard not to worry over tests and procedures - I wish you peace for the weekend - and pray for wonderful results! Hang in there! Good for you Kbell! Thanks Tricia! The relief was emotional - I cried and hadn't even realized I was nervous or stressed about it. No docs for me for at least another year - except dentist - anyone else having trouble with teeth after chemo?
-
thanks Vision!!
-
((((((((((candie)))))))))))))) Sorry you are going thru this, You have gone thu so much all ready, I keeping you in my thoughts and prayers qne will be here to hold your hand
Vision- It seems like a lot of woman here had problems with there teeth, including me, it has been in the back of my mind for some time now wondering if there is a link between bc and teeth, meaning teeth can be a link to heart disease and maybe to bc too I wonder if there has been a study on it????

Had my physical monday first one with primary since finishing chemo, having surgery and radiation and what happens she finds a lump, so off i go to have a mammogram and ultrasound. Findings a solid mass, suggest biopsy, that will be Monday 6/14 @ 730am.

just checking in and sending hugs and prayers to all. i'm in a holding pattern waiting to see my surgeon on 6/23 to check on the lump in my remaining breast -- some may recall that this lump was invisible on mammogram, ultrasound and MRI, but, it's there ... If a biopsy is called for, I'm wondering if the surgeon will just go by feel? There's nothing to guide her like last year when they inserted a clip during ultrasound-guided biopsy. One breast is already gone, I wonder how much tissue this biopsy will take? I'm praying for a B9 cyst of course, but preparing for the worst regardless. Anyone had a biopsy without the benefit of imaging?
best to all
Lottie

Lottie, good luck with your biopsy this week, same for you Rsben. Lets hold hands for comfort and support. May we all have a B9 result!!!
Thanks, Debbie for your repsponse

Ladies I am coming back in to the waiting room. I was here a few months ago when I found a lump on one of my reconstructed foobs. It turned out to be scar tissue and is now gone, gone, gone (or at least moved and I can't feel it anymore). Now I am having rib pain which I may have been having for a while and am just now feeling more. Tender spot with occassional shooting pain directly under foob. Saw BS on Friday and he said it is most likely costochondritis and not to worry but he ordered a bone scan for Tuesday. UGH! I hate scans and tests. I just had my one year anniversary of my last chemo treatment and June 30 will be my one year from BMX with expander recon. I thought that at least for a little while I could live in denial and act like it never happened. I was starting to enjoy throwing on a cute little sundress with no bra and no sag..lol. I am trying to keep the worry in check but it is difficult. I know that it could be this costo whatever but it could also be something far more sinister. Please give me any experiences you have had with this type of pain and it was caused by all of the surgery (my implant exchange was Dec.) or something else. I am sending all of the positive energy and prayers to all of you stuck in the waiting room as well. Thanks.
-
Nene, I have never had rib pain but I wait here with you as you go through the bone scan.

Candie, Lottie and rsben - good luck on our procedures. I hope you get good news!!!

Just popping back in to give some more good news to the "waiting room". Bone scan today and all was clear!!! Sometimes I guess pain is just pain and our bodies have been through so much that I guess we should remember to be gentle with them. Hugs to all and best of luck to all that are waiting and testing.

Any word from Candie ladies?
-
Just checking in ladies. My biopsy isn't even scheduled yet. I return to the surgeon a week from today to locate the lump again (it's deep inside the outside of my left breast) and hopefully schedule an excisional biopsy. I think I mentionned that this lump didn't show on mammogram, ultrasound or MRI, but it sure is there ... Hopefully in one week I will have a game plan for biospy. The wait is driving me bonkers.
Best to all
Lottie

Golden Eyes..her I am
Nene,congrats..so glad scan was ok
3jaysmom, hope all is well
Lottie, waiting stinks. But we are waiting here with ya.
Thanks for all your good thoughts.
I had the biopsy yesterday. She could only get 2 pieces cause she lost it on the ultrasound. Says it is so small. I willo have results on Friday.
Today I went to vascular surgeon. Sending me for CT scan w/.contrast on Friday to be sure what ultrasound says is right. If it is 70% or more blocked then I have to have surgery. If not, then he will keep an eye on it and treat it with medication and I can go ahead and have the hip surgery!!!
hugs and prayers,
Candie
-
Candie - you have a lot going on - scans and then a hip surgery! Sending you big hugs from Las Vegas!!!!!!
