Lock the doors. Protect your kids. A gay person might come within 50 feet. He even has the nerve to say he has gay friends and they understand and are ok with him not letting them around his kids. Any gay person who would befriend him with that caveat has got to have esteem issues....

Hopefully he's worse than 99% of people---in the world.

Joe the Homophobe

recent interview with Christianity Today has brought good ole Joe the Plumber back into the spotlight. This time, instead of being the face of the McCain/Palin ticket, he's coming out as the face of homophobia.

Here's how the dialogue went between Joe Wurzelbacher and Christianity Today:

Q: In the last month, same-sex marriage has become legal in Iowa and Vermont. What do you think about same-sex marriage at a state level?

A: At a state level, it's up to them. I don't want it to be a federal thing. I personally still think it's wrong. People don't understand the dictionary-it's called queer. Queer means strange and unusual. It's not like a slur, like you would call a white person a honky or something like that. You know, God is pretty explicit in what we're supposed to do-what man and woman are for. Now, at the same time, we're supposed to love everybody and accept people, and preach against the sins. I've had some friends that are actually homosexual. And, I mean, they know where I stand, and they know that I wouldn't have them anywhere near my children. But at the same time, they're people, and they're going to do their thing.

Thank god we have Joe The Plumber, a man who isn't even a licensed plumber, to explain the dictionary to us.

This is the same man who has said in the past that journalists "
shouldn't be allowed" to report on wars, and that he could never hold public office - primarily because he'd "probably be in jail [for] slapping some member," but also because "I don't know if the American public deserves me."

Christianity Today also asked Wurzelbacher if he had any plans to run for office, and the plumber replied, "God hasn't said, ‘Joe, I want you to run.'" Here's hoping that never happens.

Ugh is right! Is he for real? Or just trying to continue to keep his 15 min of fame going for a few more seconds here and there?

It's unbelievable that in this day and age there would be a person on the planet like this. Yuck!

I bet there are many parents who don't want their kids around Joe the Unplumber!
