Second opinion
I am on my 3rd bout of breast cancer in 8 years. It is terminal. I am confident about my oncologist who I have been with for seven years, however, since it is not curable now and has metastasized I am considering going to Sloan Kettering in New York for a second opinion or to participate in any studies. Has anyone been there or have any information about certain doctors to see or avoid? I would like feedback on personal experiences anyone has had. Thank you. Paulette

Paulette, I am a triple neg newbie, just completed my first round of chemo, so I have no info to pass on to you re Sloan Kettering and trials, but I did want you to know that I am so very sorry to hear of your latest breast cancer and want you to know I will hold you in my thoughts and prayers. I do know there are many sisters who are living a long time with mets and hope that you will as well. You may want to try the mets thread, there are many wonderful sisters who will be only too happy to take your hand at this most trying of times. Good luck and stay strong.
