I've always suspected that it is.

Check out this article written by a water specialist.

Has anyone heard that if you drink alkaline water, it will fight cancer?  I was told you can buy water that has had the acid taken out of it, leaving it alkaline and that cancer cannot survive without the acid.

Yes, we only drink alkaline water. I had stage one in 94-diagnosed in 95; no lymph node involve. Had mast. did chemo. A year and 1/2 later had it again in left breast same scenario. Did not do chemo. In 2005, recurrence, but not "caught"-MDA in Houston told me my case was "closed" and I was cured. Took months from May to Aug.. 05 to see dr. No scans were done only x-rays as pain had stopped. Pain off and on in ribs across chest. Long story short-met. bc diag. last year in 08. I began searching for anything and everything. God led me many places and to great "integrative" people/treatments. Went to Mexico to build immune system after MDA put me on Tamoxifen-no woman would take that if she read the studies showing it's about 1% effective! Also know of a woman who was cancer-free bit listened to a dr who put her on it "for prevention". After five years on it, she developed one of the female (ovarian) cancers it causes and died the next year! Back to your question-go to the Hallelujah Acres website and read about diet and how it works-alkalinity is the key. The way we Americans eat is a big part of why we have cancer. I changed my diet and take the green barley from Hal. Acres to help me stay alkaline. Also no sugar! I have done a yrs. worth of research and met/talked to too many people who have changed their diets/gone alkaline and are and have stayed cancer-free-most were told they wouldn't last a year! I have progressively gotten better and my recent PET scan showed very little cancer left. I also do IPT treatments to kill the cancer-read about it at Dr. D. Garcia's website or go to getitp.com. I would NEVER do traditional chemo again after doing IPT- it's been around for over seventy years all over the world, but here in the US. Dr. Steven Ayers brought it here. He is in Chicago. About twenty-one doctors do it in the US. IT WORKS! We buy only Mountain Valley Spring Water in glass bottles or Fiji-both are very alkaline and will boost your immune system. I also take supplements-Beta Glucan from Transfer Point, Strontium from health food store-to build my bones. We bought an ionic water filter from Heaven Fresh-it negatively charges your water and makes it alkaline, too-cleans out toxins from tap water. Our bodies must maintain a -70 charge to be healthy. Most of us are way below that. At -50 we display allergies; at -30 we get cancer and other chronic diseases. Anyone that I can help with more info. (I have tons and have personally met/witnessed healing of hundreds after changing their diets-no processed foods, no sugar, little meat, lots of vegs., small amount of fruit-no more than 15% of your daily diet if like me you are fighting cancer. My e-mail is kayeg4@aol.com. I am determined to be completely healthy before this year is out. I went from not being able to function, stand up, was lying down, had gone down to 82 lbs from 104 to being "almost me" again. I am driving again, doi

thanks kaye94  I will definetely look at the websites. Cutting out the sugar will be the hardest part for me, but I am willing to do whatever it takes.  I knew I could count on someone here to have the answer to this question.

oh forgot to ask! how do you know how do you know if you are maintaining 70 on the alkaline thing? I have those PH strips, so I test myself, but it only gives you a color code to show where you are not a number is there anything else to use?

    thanks!
