Suspicious MRI - looking for reassurance and B9 stories!

I posted on the other forum as well, but thought I would put this here as well, in the hopes of getting more responses............My sister is BRCA2+, and is booked for a prophylactic mastectomy (nipple sparing with immediate one step alloderm reconstruction) on June 3.  She had a preop MRI on Sunday. On Tues morning she got the results that she needs to have a biopsy. Last August her MRI was clear! The mass is 12 x 6 x 7mm, spiculated and no T2 signal (which is apparently not a good thing, as strong T2 signals are present usually in cysts and fibroadenomas etc). She is trying not to panic, but understandably, she is!!!  What benign thing could grow this fast? She feels like she is losing hope that it will not be cancer.......we  would appreciate hearing from anyone who may have experienced this and it was benign.
