Hi everyone,

I haven't been on the boards for awhile.  I will mark my 4 year anniversary in July.  Optimistic, huh?  I have been in menopause since October of 2005 when I had my second round of chemo.  I was 41 at diagnosis and am now 45 years old.  Three months ago my hot flashes stopped, vaginal dryness stopped and I started to think about sex again.  Still no period, but I feel so much better I can't believe it.  Has anyone else gone out of menopause after so long?

That was my main concern when I first started treatment.I had my ovaries out, because I really didn't want to do menopause twice.

Are you on Tamoxifen or an AI? If you're on an AI, you may want to get hormone levels checked.

No, I had triple neg bc, so I am not on anything and never have been.  I already had my estrogen checked.  Menopausal is under 30 and I was 82.  I guess that isn't very high, but high enough to stop all of my symptoms.Undecided
